"Will be back!"

We sat on the screened porch, as we are not comfortable dining indoors, and really enjoyed having a shady, breezy spot with view of the beautiful gardens. "The Michelle" vegetarian panini with artichoke hearts, cheddar and other good stuff was delicious. For dessert, had the Indian pudding - New England classic  that is actually hard to find in New England these days. It was perfect! The whole experience was excellent, with friendly and leisurely service. Then strolled the gardens. Will be back!

"The perfect get together spot"

I absolutely love this place!  It's a hidden gem. The new owner has made some fantastic improvements.  The food is meticulously created and always consistent and delicious......everything is homemade! The gardens are so beautiful and  it's such a treat to sit in them and enjoy your breakfast or lunch.  This is the perfect girls get together spot!

"It was such a lovely experience"

Ansel’s Cafe is absolutely scrumptious and the atmosphere is lovely. I loved the chicken pesto sandwich, the tomato soup, and the artisan bread. My friend loved the whipped coffee, which she said was fantastic. Our service was friendly and helpful. I loved the quaint art and the plants. It was such a lovely experience!

"Liz and her team were easy and fun to work with"

A lovely place! We held a 25 person anniversary party at Ansel’s. It was a great time. Liz and team were easy and fun to work with. Pricing was flexible and very reasonable. They gave us the whole place on a Saturday night. The food was delicious, the space is homey and welcoming, the service was friendly… what more could you want? Oh, and they even went out of their way to accommodate a last minute food allergy.

"The outdoor seating area is gorgeous"

Wonderful hidden gem in Marion, MA. Excellent food and service. The outdoor seating area is gorgeous and provides great shade even on the hottest summer days.

"Awesome little spot to take a date"

This place is an awesome little spot to take a date, relative, or friend youre trying to impress. Beautiful atmosphere, incredibly quaint and authentic. The garden is breathtaking. The food is delicious and fairly priced, and its a perfect spot for coffee and pastries. The owner liz does a great job of taking over the legend of the ansel gurney house and is also adding some new flair

"I realized right away the food is made by them, not prepackaged."

I got a smoothy bowl, it was so refreshing and absolutely delicious. Sprinkled on top was an almond vanilla granola that I knew was freshly made! It tasted like the fruit and veggies were just picked. The lavender lemonade was a pleasure also. I realized right away that all their food is made by them, not prepackaged. The prices seem reasonable for the quality of the food. The staff was friendly and diligent.

"Worth the drive."

Quaint little place with lots of good stuff on the menu. Outdoor dining in their gardens(weather permitting) service was excellent and the staff very friendly. Worth the drive. Well be back.
